In an exhibition at the Oude Gedempte Gracht in Leiden, Tim Mathijsen worked with replicas of ornaments. These replicas, all taken from bridges designed by Amsterdam School architect Piet Kramer, serve the function of a park bench. One ornament supports the structure of the construction, while another rises vertically like a proud ornament.
